This article justifies the need to use alternative investment management models in modern economic conditions. The author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of traditional investment management methods and provides a thorough analysis of alternative models - the portfolio approach, real options theory, risk-based valuation, and forecasting methods based on artificial intelligence. The effectiveness of applying these models to the real economy is illustrated through statistical and practical examples. The results of the study put forward practical recommendations for the application of these models in the national economy.
