In the context of accelerated technological progress and economic globalization, e-commerce is becoming an important development factor for many countries, including Uzbekistan. This article is aimed at studying current aspects of the development of e-commerce in Uzbekistan, analyzing the factors influencing its flourishing, and identifying potential obstacles. The focus is on the current state of e- commerce in the country, highlighting the key areas where the most progress is being made. The study also focuses on factors that contribute to the development of this sector, such as improved infrastructure, economic stability and the development of digital payment systems. An important aspect of the work is the analysis of the obstacles faced by e-commerce in Uzbekistan, including data security issues, the level of digital literacy of the population and modern legislation. This article also highlights the prospects for the development of e-commerce in Uzbekistan, offering recommendations to overcome identified challenges and support sustainable growth of the sector.
