"INTEGRATING MOBILE APPLICATIONS AND VIRTUAL REALITY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES"

This research explores the effectiveness of using mobile applications and virtual reality (VR) technologies in the foreign language learning process in an 8th-grade class at School No. 168 in the Chilonzar district. The study investigates the impact of these technologies on student performance, engagement, and overall learning outcomes. Data was collected through a combination of surveys, classroom observations, and academic results before and after the intervention. The findings revealed that despite the students’ interest in these technologies, technical difficulties, such as inadequate equipment and connectivity issues, hindered the successful implementation of mobile apps and VR. The results also indicate that while students expressed curiosity, their overall academic performance did not show significant improvement. The study concludes with recommendations for future research and improvements in teacher training and technical infrastructure.
