Аннотация

World experience of financing modernization of national economy and deep technical and technological renovation of production processes is very important for the country with transforming economic system.The article describes the opportunities for public investment institutions in promoting modernization and renovation of national economy, it analyzes world experience in this spherewith an emphasis on activity of Sovereign wealth funds (SWF). It is concluded that public investment institutions play crucial role in economic transformation and the SWF in particular, being oriented to long term benefits by their nature could serve as main investors of the modernization process of national economy.
