Аннотация

The development of independent learning skills is crucial for English philology students, as it enhances their ability to effectively acquire, analyze, and apply linguistic and cultural knowledge. This study explores strategies and methods that encourage autonomy in learning, with a focus on fostering critical thinking, self-regulation, and motivation. Key approaches include the integration of digital tools, project-based learning, and self- assessment techniques that empower students to take responsibility for their learning process. The study emphasizes the role of instructors in facilitating an environment that encourages exploration, reflection, and collaboration. By developing independent learning skills, students are better prepared to navigate the complexities of language acquisition, literary analysis, and cultural studies, ultimately leading to more successful academic and professional outcomes. The findings suggest that a structured yet flexible approach to independent learning can significantly enhance students' engagement, competence, and confidence in the field of English philology. The development of independent learning skills is essential for English philology students as it enhances their ability to acquire, analyze, and apply linguistic and cultural knowledge effectively. Independent learning fosters skills such as critical thinking, self-regulation, and motivation, which are vital for navigating the complexities of language acquisition, literary analysis, and cultural studies. By promoting autonomy, students become more engaged and take greater responsibility for their educational journey, leading to deeper understanding and improved academic performance. To develop these skills, a variety of strategies and methods can be employed. Integrating digital tools into the learning process enables students to access diverse resources, practice language skills, and engage in self-paced learning. Project-based learning encourages them to explore topics in depth, collaborate with peers, and apply their knowledge in practical contexts. Additionally, self-assessment techniques 109 THEORETICAL ASPECTS IN THE FORMATION OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES International scientific-online conference help students to reflect on their progress, set goals, and identify areas for improvement, thereby cultivating a habit of continuous learning. The role of instructors is pivotal in creating an environment that supports the growth of independent learning skills. By guiding students to explore new ideas, encouraging reflective thinking, and facilitating collaborative activities, educators can help them build the confidence and competence needed for successful self-directed learning. Ultimately, fostering independent learning skills among English philology students not only benefits their academic growth but also equips them with the abilities to succeed in diverse professional and cultural contexts. Independent learning skills are particularly important for English philology students because the field requires a deep understanding of language, literature, and cultural contexts, often necessitating extensive reading, research, and analysis. Students must be able to manage their time effectively, seek out relevant information, and develop the ability to critically evaluate different sources. This autonomy allows them to approach their studies with greater curiosity and initiative, which is essential for mastering the complexities of language use, literary interpretation, and cultural appreciation. The integration of technology plays a significant role in enhancing independent learning. Digital tools, such as online language platforms, e-books, and academic databases, provide students with access to a wide range of resources beyond the traditional classroom setting. These tools enable learners to practice language skills, engage with authentic texts, and participate in online communities, making learning more dynamic and interactive. Additionally, digital learning environments allow students to track their own progress, set personalized learning goals, and receive immediate feedback, which supports self-directed study and continuous improvement. Project-based learning is another effective approach to promoting independence. By engaging students in projects that require research, analysis, and presentation, they learn to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. This method encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and the practical application of theoretical concepts, which helps students develop a deeper understanding of the material. Furthermore, working on projects allows students to explore their interests, giving them a sense of ownership over their learning process. Self-assessment and reflective practices are cruc
