This scientific article is devoted to the application of modern digital technologies in the green economy and the systematic management of emerging innovation-related risks. In the context of global climate change and growing environmental challenges, strategies aimed at greening the economy are becoming increasingly important. In this process, digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain technology, Big Data, and other advanced digital solutions play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the green economy. The article analyzes the positive outcomes achieved in areas such as energy efficiency, waste management, environmental monitoring, and green financing through the use of these technologies. At the same time, it thoroughly examines critical risks associated with digitalization — including cybersecurity threats, technological incompatibility, data reliability issues, digital inequality, and socio-economic imbalances. The author proposes a set of integrated approaches for managing innovation-related risks, such as early risk detection systems, modern management models, and initiatives to improve digital literacy. In conclusion, the article offers practical recommendations for harmonizing digital transformation with resilient risk management in the green economy. The findings of this research may be useful for policymakers, technology developers, and stakeholders engaged in the implementation of green economy strategies and sustainable innovation.
