This article describes the role of commercial banks in our country in the economy and the foreign and domestic relations in improving the efficiency of their investment activities.In this regard, the article talks about the theoretical views of scientists and prospects for the development of investment activities of commercial banks. Also, today, during the consistent reform of the financial sector, the execution of loans allocated to several large investment projects by commercial banks operating in our country and their participation in the securities market were analyzed. The author presents scientific proposals and theoretical recommendations on increasing the investment activity of commercial banks.
