THE COMPETENCE OF A COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER TO CREATE AND APPLY EDUCATIONAL MODELS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATION

Аннотация

This article examines modeling skills that are recognized as key to the professional development of computer science teachers in the era of digitalization of education. The model of formation of these competencies is based on a system-activity approach, which provides for the presence of targeted, substantive, procedural and evaluative components. The results of the study, which included 45 university teachers, showed that only 26.7% ofthe respondents have a professionally innovative level of development of modeling competencies. These data emphasize the need to develop professional development programs and methodological support. Thefinal part presents practical suggestions for improving thedigital training of teachers.
