The field of chemical engineering is in constant evolution and so are the students, whose access to information technology is changing the way chemical engineering problems are addressed. This book is inspired by the difficulties that introducing the use of different software within class hours present. It promotes the need for a textbook that is user friendly and that, at the same time, addresses typical examples within the subjects covered in the chemical engineering curriculum.
