The research intends to examine the specific features of poetical translation of Robert Burns’ poetry from English into Uzbek and the importance techniques of translational transformations. It also focuses on the methods of achieving a poetical effect similar to the original in the language of translation. Key words: poetics, poetical translation, transformations, techniques. Kalit so`zlar: she’riyat, she’riy tarjima, tabdil, usullar.
