Аннотация

Social mobility—the ability of individuals or groups to move within a social hierarchy—is a critical factor in achieving gender equality and empowering women. In Uzbekistan, women's social mobility has been influenced by a complex interplay of historical, cultural, economic, and political factors. This article examines the evolution of women's social mobility in Uzbekistan, highlighting key challenges and recent policy initiatives aimed at enhancing women's participation in various spheres of society.
