This article discusses the issues of stable development of the economy of Uzbekistan based on a strong structural and innovative potential. In order to maintain and increase the competitiveness of the national economy, it is necessary to consider the possibility of developing a knowledge economy in order to achieve higher and more sustainable economic growth. The issues of improving the financial and investment, regulatory and legal policy of stimulating modernization and technological re-equipment of the real sector, the development of high technology industries and the transfer of the economy as a whole to an innovative model.
