This scientific work studies various representatives of the Juniperus L. genus, distributed in the mountains of Uzbekistan, and their role in the ecosystem. The Juniperus (Greek juniperus - "pine") genus of plants mainly belongs to the pine family and is more common in mountainous regions. Detailed information is provided on the botanical description of the Juniperus L. genus, their morphological and physiological characteristics, ecological requirements, and representatives distributed in the mountains of Uzbekistan. Representatives of the Juniperus genus are ecologically widespread in mountainous regions, especially in rocky and arid forests. Their role in the ecosystem, adaptation to climate change, and biogeographical relationships are discussed. Several species of the Juniperus genus are found in various mountain ranges of Uzbekistan, including species such as Juniperus seravschanica and Juniperus pseudosabina. Their interactions, diversity, and importance 94 within biotopes and across regions require significant scientific attention. This research includes innovations in the fields of ecology, botany, and biosecurity.
