This scientific article is intended for students and teachers of “Fine Art and Engineering Graphics”, educators of preschool educational organizations to teach children the characteristics of colors and types of paint in the process of visual activity in preschool educational organizations, it reflects such issues as the goals and tasks of painting in the genre of fine art landscape, pedagogical skill of teaching fine art. Also, in preschool educational organizations, effective methods of teaching children about the properties of colors and types of paints, information about the main characteristics, meanings and nature of each color are presented, and practical exercise methods that work with colors will help them identify and know colors.
