Subjects of the inquiry: scientific analysis of the influence of historical changes in demographic processes in Uzbekistan in the second half of the 80’s -2000. Aim of the inquiry: scientific study of the influence of historical changes in demographic processes in Uzbekistan in the second half of the 80’s - 2000. Talking into consideration the fact that the theme has not been studied completely and complexity of the issue, and based on the temporal boundaries of scientific research, the aim is to explore and summarize the influence of historical changes in demographic processes in the 80’s and in the first decade of independence from the perspective of new historical thinking and based on the idea of national independence. Methods of the inquiry: such methods as historicism, objectivity, comparative-analytical, statistical and systematic study in chronological sequence were used. The results achieved and their novelty: the dissertation on the basis of modem requirements and for the first time as a separate theme the influence of historical changes in demographic processes in Uzbekistan in the second half of the 80’s - 2000 were investigated. Demographic change and its impact on the national population, and the impact of migration on the demographic situation during the years of independence were scientifically disclosed. The social reforms to ensure employment and social support during the transition to a market economy were highlighted and conclusions were also formulated. Practical value: the results of the research and scientific findings arc useful for enriching the pages of history of Uzbekistan with new materials, which can be used in the writing of textbooks and teaching aids, as well as additional sources in the teaching of social studies in educational establishments. Degree of embed and economic effectivity: the main results of research and ideas arc reflected in scientific articles published by the candidate as well as his speeches at scientific conferences. Sphere of usage: The results may serve as a theoretical tool and information source for researchers of all fields of social sciences.
