This paper provides an overview of articles in the criminal codes of some countries regarding responsibility for extortion. The author examined the criminal codes of countries such as Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine.
