This article presents an analysis of the problem of corruption as articulated in the works of ancient thinkers and Movarounnahr scholars. Drawing upon the writings of philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, and Confucius, as well as the contributions of Movarounnahr scholars including Avicenna, Al-Farabi, and Al-Biruni, the analysis offers a multidisciplinary exploration of the ethical and sociopolitical dimensions of corruption within diverse cultural and historical contexts.The analysis reveals recurring themes and nuanced variations in the conceptualization of corruption, shedding light on the enduring relevance of ancient insights to contemporary discussions of governance, ethics, and societal well-being.
