This article analyzes the role of fiscal policy in ensuring the socio- economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, its effective directions, and the priority areas of current policy. It thoroughly examines issues such as ensuring the stability of public finances, expanding the budget revenue base, rational use of funds allocated to social sectors, and the gradual transition to a results-oriented budgeting system. The study also proposes ways to increase the effectiveness of fiscal policy implementation, identifies existing problems, and suggests appropriate solutions. Forecasts of economic growth and budget revenues are analyzed based on statistical data.
