Аннотация

The article discusses the results of the epidemiological analysis of the incidence of acute intestinal infec-tions registered in the Samarkand region in the period from 2012 to 2016. Based on the results of a survey of parents of children hospitalized in the Samarkand Oblast Infectious Disease Hospital for diarrhea, an analysis is made of the pathways and factors of infection, as well as the conditions that contributed to the development of the disease. The insufficient awareness of mothers about the rational feeding of children, the primary measures that parents should take when diarrhea syndrome occurs in young children (in particular, the signifi- cance and methodology of oral rehydration) has been identified
