This study aims to explore the historiographic trends underlying the Indian Journal of the History of The Indian Journal of the History of Science (IJHS) serves as a prominent platform for scholars to contribute to the field of history of science in India. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the journal to explore historiographic trends. The analysis covers a specific period and examines publication patterns, authorship trends, and citation patterns. The findings reveal a growing interest in the history of science in India, with an increase in the number of articles published over the years. The topics covered in the articles are diverse, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the field. Collaborative research efforts are observed, indicating the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and knowledge exchange. The citation analysis highlights highly cited papers and the interconnectedness of research within the journal.
