Sea buckthorn (Hippophaë rhamnóides) is a valuable source of biologically active substances. While the fruit is well-studied, the leaves remain less well-researched, although they contain a complex of vitamins and antioxidants. Determination of their vitamin composition is important for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for the prevention of hypovitaminosis.
