This article examines the economic potential of the industrial sector of Surkhandarya region and analyzes it using statistical, economic-mathematical and econometric methods. Also, the medium- term forecast values of indicators representing the economic potential of the regional industry (2020- 2025) were developed and the directions for its further development were highlighted.
