The article deals with the issues of the scope and development of the institution of exemption from criminal liability in connection with reconciliation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, its advantages in the reform of the judicial and legal system, the work carried out in the field of improving the institution of reconciliation. At the same time, this article provides the essence of the conditions inherent in reconciliation, in terms of the commission of the crime provided for in this article, compensation for the damage caused to the victim by the perpetrator and forgiveness of the victim, in the presence of which it is possible to release the person from criminal liability.
