This article analyzes the issues of forming and developing students' creative thinking skills in secondary general education institutions. In modern education, teaching creative thinking and directing the younger generation to innovative thinking is of great importance. The study analyzed the effectiveness of using teaching methods, interactive methods, creative tasks in the lesson, open-ended problematic questions and game elements to stimulate creative thinking in students. Based on practical observations, the author substantiates specific ways to develop creativity in the educational process. The article is of practical importance for educators, psychologists and methodologists. Keywords.
