To reduce the traction resistance of the canal digger, when choosing the installation angles of the wing, one should proceed from the condition of reducing the angle of capture of the seam by the moldboard 𝜸 . It is known from the theory of the share-moldboard surface that 𝑬𝑫 the angle 𝜸 has a very significant effect on the traction resistance of the tool.
