Аннотация

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the formation, stages of development and current state of the funded pension system in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, it is based on the fact that factors such as increasing demographic pressure, the size of the informal segment of the labor market, and insufficient formalization of employment negatively affect the financial stability of this system. At the same time, the possibilities of ensuring the long-term stability of the pension system by increasing the investment activity of pension funds, their integration into capital markets, and the introduction of transparent monitoring systems are considered. According to the results of the study, for the successful implementation of pension reforms, it is necessary to work in three main directions: ensuring financial stability, modernizing the management system, and increasing the financial literacy of the population. The results of this article can serve as a theoretical, methodological and practical basis for state bodies conducting social policy, specialists engaged in economic reforms, and pension funds.
