This article discusses the reflection of legal and regulatory norms in covering the issue of water resources use through the Internet media, their analysis and impact on public consciousness. In the context of global climate change and water scarcity, the rational use of water resources is becoming an urgent environmental and social issue. Therefore, the coverage of legal issues related to water in blogs, news sites, interactive maps and social networks, the effectiveness of these approaches, the accuracy of information and compliance with the law are analyzed. During the study, cases based on the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, international standards and UN resolutions were studied, and the level of legal literacy related to water resources in the Internet information space was assessed.
