Аннотация

Sanctions adopted by the United Nations Security Council under Chapter VII of the UN Charter, with the aim of maintaining or restoring international peace and security, encompass a wide range of non-military enforcement measures [1]. Since 1966, the Security Council has established numerous sanctions regimes, including economic and trade sanctions, arms embargoes, travel bans, and financial restrictions. These measures are intended to compel states or non-state actors to alter behaviors that threaten international peace and security.
