Platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork, and similar web services have reshaped the labor market. According to research conducted on these platforms, 75% of job seekers turn to online platforms. While it typically takes about 2 to 6 weeks to find a job using these platforms, without them, this process could take from 3 to 6 months.This article discusses how these platforms are changing the way people find jobs, the problems they can cause, and offers ideas for making them work better and be morefair for everyone in today’s jobmarket.
