The stability and competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s banking system are directly linked to the financial resources of commercial banks. Financial resources play a crucial role in carrying out the core activities of banks, increasing lending capacity, financing investment projects, and providing a wide range of services to clients. The ongoing reforms in the country aim to strengthen the financial potential of banks, expand their resource base, and improve capital adequacy. This article analyzes the composition of the financial resources of commercial banks in Uzbekistan, their sources of formation, growth dynamics, and the efficiency of their utilization. Recommendations are also provided on diversifying the resource base, ensuring liquidity, and enhancing the financial stability of banks.
