This article is devoted to the linguocultural, linguistic study of the concept of patience, in which the linguocognitive direction considers the meaning of the concept of “mental vocabulary” in cognitive linguistics as a whole, the concept and its essence, that the concept of “patience” is one of the complex and multifaceted concepts both from the philosophical, religious, and from the point of view of linguophilosophy and linguoculturology presents considerations. In addition, the article emphasizes the importance for each person and people of the fact that in modern society such closely related concepts as “patience” and “tolerance” are approached with a special approach. Despite the fact that these two concepts are closely related, at the same time they differ from each other, the activation of the Uzbek concept of “patience”, its everyday meaning and aspects reflected in phraseology are highlighted.
