This scientific article examines the tourism and recreational value of forests. The development of tourism and recreational activities in forests is important not only from an ecological and economic perspective, but also from a social and cultural perspective. Resting, traveling, and connecting with nature in forests are beneficial for a person's psychological and physical health. This article analyzes the role of forests as tourism resources, their impact, and theprospects for using forests for tourismand recreational purposes. In addition, the forests provide many opportunities for reducing stress, improving mental and physical well-being, and harmonizing with nature. People who travel to the forests expand their knowledge of ecological tourism and gain a greater understanding of nature conservation. When assessing the importance of forests for tourism and recreational activities, it is necessary to take into account their ecological and economic significance.
