Аннотация

This article widely covers the concept of tourism ethics, its basic principles, and practical significance. Tourism ethics is a set of norms that regulate ethical relations between tourists, service providers, the local population, and the ecological environment. It is based on the principles of mutual respect, responsibility, honesty, intercultural dialogue, and fairness. The article particularly emphasizes the impact of ethical values in tourism on positive relations between tourists and hosts, on the quality of services, and on the country's international image. In this article, the author highlights factors such as careful treatment of historical and cultural heritage sites, attention to environmental sustainability, service culture, and hospitality as criteria that form the basis of sustainable tourism. The connection between ethics and sustainable development, the necessity of educating the younger generation based on ethical consciousness, and the inclusion of ethical norms in the education system are also analyzed. As a result of the article, it is concluded that an ethical approach in tourism is an important factor for development not only from a moral perspective but also from social, economic, and cultural viewpoints.
