Аннотация

This article analyzes the clinical effectiveness and consequences of long-term medication use in patients with implanted stents. It provides a detailed overview of the role and significance of stenting in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Furthermore, the main types of antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapies, their pharmacological mechanisms of action, methods of administration, and potential adverse effects are comprehensively reviewed. The role of long-term medication use in reducing the risk of stent thrombosis and restenosis, as well as risk factors associated with adverse events such as bleeding resulting from continuous pharmacotherapy, is also examined. The article emphasizes the importance of tailoring treatment strategies and therapy duration based on patients' individual characteristics, existing comorbidities, and risk factors. 1 60 5 International scientific journal ISSN: 2181-3906 «MODERN SCIENCE АND RESEARCH» 2025 VOLUME 4 / ISSUE 4 / UIF:8.2 / MODERNSCIENCE.UZ Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn regarding the importance of an individualized approach in determining the optimal combination of medications and the duration of therapy in patients following percutaneous coronary intervention.
