This article explores the challenges faced by the tourism industry in the post- pandemic era and highlights strategies for recovery and adaptation. It analyzes global and local trends, shifts in travel behavior, and the growing importance of safety and digitalization. Using Uzbekistan as a case study, the paper examines the development of domestic tourism and the prospects of ecological and wellness tourism.
