In this article, an attempt will be made to study in more detail the stages of development of cooperation between China and Afghanistan, how, in general, the historical roots of cooperation in the past developed, to what level they have reached and what position China refrains from today. In addition, it will be considered what interests the PRC and other major powers like the United States and Russia have in terms of geopolitics in Afghanistan.
