This article discusses the issue of forming a reading culture among young people. The role of reading in the spiritual and intellectual development of the younger generation, its social and cultural significance are analyzed. It also discusses current problems in this regard and ways to overcome them. Based on the results of the study, recommendations are given for the development ofa reading culture.
