The object of the research work. The object of the study was the widely distributed old-irrigated light gray-gray soils of the Surkhandarya region, the 2nd reproduction of the seed tubers of the early varieties of potato «Sante», «Yarokli-2010», «Aladin», «Bahro-30», 3 variants of the number and irrigation schemes, 3 variants of the length of the irrigation groove, in a furrow, 3 variants of norms of fertilizers. Scientific novelty of the research work is as follows: for the first time in the conditions of the old irrigated light gray soils of the Surkhandarya region, an assessment was made of the effect on the physical properties of the soil, growth, development, crop formation, yield, storage and transportability, biochemical composition and quality of early middle potato varieties of early potatoes while cultivating various numbers, schemes and irrigation technology, and also the norms of fertilizers; optimal elements of the regime and irrigation technologies as well as fertilizer norms are established, which ensure a stable, high and high yield at the same time, with good keeping quality of the early varieties of potatoes; it was justified that with uniform moistening of the soil in irrigation grooves, a favorable microclimate will be achieved, activation of physiological, biochemical processes, as well as effective use of water and fertilizer; optimized such elements of irrigation technology as the length and depth of the furrow, the intensity of water flow in the irrigation groove.
