It is revealed that among all types of linguistic adoptions the largest part is made up of Anatomy of human body. The inclusion of Latin terms in the morphology of nouns, first of all in the gender, in the formation of the plural and in the form of the object case, as well as in the pronunciation of phonemes is considered. Examples of the transition of words from Latin into English at the level of phonetics, morphology and semantics are given. It is emphasized that Latin loans make an important contribution to the enrichment of medical English.
