This work is devoted to the topic of pedagogy teaching methodology based on modern approaches with an emphasis on the profession, in which the theoretical issues of vocational guidance based on STEAM technology were studied. Technology (from the Greek "techne" - skill, art, "logos" - understanding, teaching) is the organization of certain (production, social, economic and other) processes at a high level of skill and art. Educational technology (see "an educational technology") is the organization of the educational (teaching) process at a high level of skill and art. Educational technology refers to the general content of the process of achieving the educational goal, that is, the step-by-step implementation of the previously designed educational process on the basis of an integrated system, the development of a system of certain methods, methods and tools to achieve a specific goal, their effective and efficient use, and the educational process. level management is understood. Educational method is a method of joint activity of teachers and students aimed at solving the complex tasks of the educational process, and educational methodology is a scientifically based method, rule and system of methods of teaching a specific educational subject. This applies, firstly, to the wide spread of technologies that require a lot of scientific knowledge, and secondly, to changes in the organization of work and the results of the teaching process.
