Аннотация

Referred pain is a phenomenon where pain is perceived in a location different from its actual source. This condition is commonly observed in various clinical scenarios, including myocardial infarctions, visceral diseases, and musculoskeletal disorders. The mechanisms underlying referred pain involve complex neural pathways, including convergence of sensory neurons in the spinal cord and central sensitization. Proper diagnosis is essential for effective treatment, as misinterpretation ofreferred pain can lead to inappropriate management. This paper explores the mechanisms of referred pain, diagnostic challenges, and its significance in clinical practice. Keywords: Referred pain, neural pathways, visceral pain, musculoskeletal disorders, central sensitization, diagnosis, painmanagement.
