This article presents a comprehensive examination of ephemeral and ephemeroid plant species in the flora of Kirtashtau Mountain, a region known for its rich biodiversity and ecological significance. Ephemeral species exhibit rapid life cycles, emerging and completing their reproductive phases within short periods of favorable conditions, while ephemeroids persist through underground storage organs, allowing perennial survival. The study highlights notable species from both categories, discusses their ecological roles, and emphasizes their contribution to pollination, soil stability, and nutrient cycling. Understanding these species is crucial for biodiversity conservation and future ecological research, particularly in the face of climate change and habitat disturbances.
