Аннотация
Anesthesia care is a comprehensive approach to ensuring the painlessness and safety of the patient during medical procedures. The article describes the main tasks of anesthesia care and considers types of anesthesia. The stages of preparation for anesthetic care are described. The cases when this care is required are listed. The safety and risks of anesthetic care are discussed. Recommendations for further information are given. Keywords: Anesthesiology, resuscitation, pain relief, artificial lung ventilation, patient monitoring, sedation, surgical intervention, postoperative care, critical conditions, pain syndrome. Introduction. Anesthesiological care is a set of medical measures aimed at: Ensuring painless surgical interventions, diagnostic procedures, and obstetrics. Maintaining the patient's vital functions throughout the procedure. Preventing and treating complications associated with anesthesia and surgery. Anesthesiological care is provided by anesthesiologists who have undergone special training and have the skills necessary to ensure the patient's safety and comfort during medical procedures. Types of anesthesiological care: General anesthesia: the patient is immersed in a state of deep sleep, feeling no pain and not realizing what is happening. Epidural anesthesia: a pain-relieving drug is injected into the space around the spinal cord, blocking pain in a specific part of the body. Spinal anesthesia: the drug is injected directly into the spinal cord, providing deeper anesthesia than epidural. Local anesthesia: a drug is injected into the area of the operation, blocking pain only in that area. Sedation: the patient is conscious, but relaxed and drowsy. Sedation and anesthesia are two methods used in medicine to ensure patient comfort during medical procedures or surgeries. Table No. 1 The main differences between sedation and anesthesia Criteria sedation anesthesia Level of consciousness The patient is conscious but The patient falls into an relaxed and able to doze. He unconscious state, does not can respond to simple respond to external stimuli, and commands and answer does not remember the questions procedure Degree of analgesia Reduces pain, but does not Provides a complete absence of 108 eliminate it. Additional local pain and other types of anesthesia may be required sensitivity Methods of administration Administered orally, Administered intravenously or intravenously, by inhalation intramuscularly, or by inhalation. Respiration control As a rule, the patient In most cases, artificial breathes on his own ventilation of the lungs (ALV) is required to ensure the patient's breathing Use Used for short procedures Used for longer and more such as biopsies, endoscopy, complex operations, such as dental fillings abdominal operations, heart operations Safety Generally considered safer Associated with a higher risk of than anaesthesia, has fewer complications such as nausea, side effects vomiting, dizziness, allergic reactions The choice between sedation and anesthesia depends on: the type and duration of the procedure, the patient's health condition, and the patient's personal preference. The decision on the method of anesthesia is always made by the anesthesiologist after a thorough assessment of the patient. Before the procedure, the patient must be informed about all aspects of sedation or anesthesia and give their consent. The choice of the type of anesthesia depends on many factors, such as: • The type of surgery or procedure. • The patient's health condition. • The patient's personal preferences. Before anesthesia, the patient undergoes a comprehensive examination, which allows the anesthesiologist to: Assess the patient's health condition. Choose the most appropriate type of anesthesia. Inform the patient of possible risks and benefits. During anesthesia, the anesthesiologist: Continuously monitors the patient's vital functions: breathing, heartbeat, and blood pressure. Adjusts the course of anesthesia if necessary. Provides drug support. After anesthesia, the patient is under medical supervision until full recovery of consciousness. In what cases is anesthesia required: Surgical interventions: on any part of the body. Diagnostic procedures: bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and others that can be painful. 109 Childbirth: epidural or spinal anesthesia for pain relief. Chronic pain management: techniques similar to anesthesia can be used to manage pain. Anesthetic care is safe and effective. However, like any medical procedure, it has some risks. The patient should be informed about them by the anesthetist before the procedure is carried out. If you have any questions about anesthesia care, you should contact your doctor. Conclusion: Anesthetic care is an important component of modern medicine, allowing patients to undergo complex procedures without pain or discomfort.
