Econometric analysis of the profitability of commercial banks represents an important direction in research aimed at assessing the financial condition of the banking sector. The article discusses the use of econometric models to assess factors affecting the profitability of banks. One of the key goals is to identify the influence of various economic, financial and institutional factors on the profitability of banks. The article analyzes data on assets, capital, costs, interest rates and macroeconomic indicators to build accurate models that reflect the behavior of banks based on empirical data.
