Аннотация

This article investigates the use of stable combinations in A.P. Chekhov's work “Man in a Case”. The paper considers the role of stable expressions as a means of characterizing characters and creating the atmosphere of the story. The research methodology is based on the lexical-semantic analysis of the text. The influence of these combinations on the reader's perception of the work, as well as their connection with the themes of alienation and social pressure is considered.
