Children's literature, and their interest in literature, is one of the main duties of our primary education teachers. In this matter, we are helped by literary fairy tales such as Hamid Olimjon's Oygul and Bakhtiyor, "Semurg or Parizod and Bunyod", Mirtemir's "Ajdar", Shukur Sadulla's "Uch ayk", "Ayyor chumchuk", Zafar Diyor's "Yangi ertak", "Tashkhon bilan Moshkhon", "Tulkining hiylasi", Sultan Jora's "Zangor kilam" and "Kaldirgoch", which are based on the traditions of folk oral art and are thorough in form and content. In the 1930s, Uzbek children's poetry flourished and its subject matter expanded. In the 1940s-1960s, Uzbek children's literature further developed, and the ranks of children's writers expanded due to the emergence of Nasir Fozilov, Khudoyberdi Tokhtaboyev, Tolib Yuldosh, Farhod Musajonov, Latif Mahmudov, and other writers. Representatives of adult literature such as Uygun, Mirtemir, Asqad Mukhtor, Said Ahmad, Shuhrat, Mirzakalon Ismailiy, and Mirkarim Asim also created works for children. To interest children in literature, a creative approach is required. What is the creative approach - a new pedagogical reality from the point of view of the modernization of general secondary education. In the process of using this approach, educators are required to come up with great ideas (originality), expand them (development). When comparing with other ideas and finding connections in them (adaptability), these skills intersect. Before talking about linguistic competencies, it is necessary to clarify the essence of the concept of "competence". Competence (from the Latin word "competent" meaning "to achieve, to be able to do") is the social requirements and standards imposed on the educational preparation of students, necessary for effective creative activity in a certain area, exceeding the previously established educational standards. 158 NEW RENAISSANCE 2024 DECEMBER INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE VOLUME 1 | ISSUE 10 Linguistic competencies are the result of practical activities that reflect the orientation to cognitive activity, awareness of educational and cognitive activity, creativity, behavior in non- standard situations, independence in solving educational tasks, as well as the richness of students' speech and the breadth of their worldview. Turob Tola also made a great contribution to children's literature. The first collection of "Poems" was published in 1939. After that, the poet's collections of poems, songs and epics, such as "Shodligim" (1941), "Tabassum" (1944), "Bakht tongotari" (1948), "Muborakbod" (1949), "Bolalar dostoni" (1950), "Qanotlan, qoshqıklırim" (1955), "Tanlangan asarlar" (1958), "Oromijon" (1961), "Gulyor" (1968), "Oftob nayzada" (1974), were published. Turob Tola began his creative activity at the age of 15-16. He wrote poems and epics, librettos for operas and ballets, and various prose works, and also made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek singing. His poems such as “Hayo bilan”, “Sumbula”, “Kuʻchalar”, “Doʻppi tikdim” (sung as a song by Klara Jalilova in the film Maftuningman), “Sardarosh qoshigi” were sung. In his epics such as “Hamiyat” (1948), “Shahlo”, “Zamon hukm” (1968), “Suyuk momo” (1975), “Tramvayda söydın daftar” (1978), Turob Tola not only addressed the lives of his hardworking contemporaries, but also sought to turn the pages of the historical past and look at important events that took place in the past with the eyes of the present. In the development of linguistic competencies of primary school students based on a creative approach, creativity and cooperation are closely intertwined. After all, only with a new approach does cooperation arise, and creativity finds its expression in this cooperation. When the tradition of creativity is practically applied to educational processes, students' interest in learning doubles. Pedagogical creativity should not be understood only as a desire for innovation and experimentation. This desire also expresses the victory of common sense over formalism. In primary school lessons, work on tasks that serve to form students' creative abilities and linguistic competencies occupies a special place. The student, relying on life and educational experience in comfortable conditions for himself, carries out thinking activities through oral and written speech. In this, mental readiness is formed for active cooperation with the teacher on aspects of each subject that are unknown to him. In conclusion, in children's literature, along with art, enlightenment also occupies a leading place. Because examples of children's literature also serve to educate young people in the spirit of human qualities. The princ
