Аннотация

Subjects of the inquiry: 165 patients with brain metastases. Of them 52 patients were operated. Aim of the inquiry: to improve results of the treatment and medical-social rehabilitation of patients with metastatic brain tumours by perfection and broadened indications for the surgical method depending on the histological structure and localization of the tumour. To develop indications and contra-indications for the surgical treatment of patients with metastatic brain tumours and to carry out rehabilitation and a medical-social adaptation of patients on the basis of obtained data. Method of inquiry: neurologic, ncuroophthalmological, laboratory, neurophysiological (the ECHO - EG (echocnccphalography), EEG (electroencephalography, REG (rhcocnccphalography), otoncurologic, ncuro-psychiatric, ncu-rosonographic, radiological (including computed axial tomography, magneto-resonant tomography). The results achieved and their novelty: It is determined: the survival rate, the forecast, quality and life expectancy of patients with metastases of the primarily malignant brain tumours depend on the localization of metastasis in the brain, their number, a histological structure, a phase of clinical compensation of brain function, a radical surgical treatment, rehabilitation and a medical-social adaptation. Practical value: A complex of the modem methods of investigations has been studied which gives an opportunity to estimate a degree of compensation of the brain function and an organism taken as a whole, to determine expediency and the extent of the surgical treatment. Methods of rehabilitation and a medicalsocial adaptation of the operated patients arc studied. The results of work contribute to an early diagnostics, timely treatment, forecast and rehabilitation. Degree of embed and economic effectivity: Basic theses arc introduced into practice at the department of oncology of the Republican Scientific Centre of Neurosurgery, the National Centre of the medical-social and vocational rehabilitation of invalids of the Republic of Uzbekistan, management of medicallabour examination in Tashkent, at the faculty of medical labour examination of Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Training. Sphere of usage: neurosurgery, oncology, rchabilitology.
