Subject of research: This research based on analysis of examination and surgical treatment of 65 patients with partial atrioventricular canal. Purpose of work: improve the results of surgical treatment of partial atrioventricular canal by concrctization of cchocardiographical diagnostical criteria and performance aspect of restoration of atrioventricular valve’s facility. Methods of research: echocardiography, angiography; at the same time nonparametrieal and parametrical methods of statistical analysis with calculation of mean (M) and extensive values (P), and their variable characteristics were used, all temporary relations were analyzed using Kaplan-Meier methodology. The results obtained and their novelty: the role and importance of echocardiography in definition of changing degree of atrioventricular valves were investigated; the impact of anatomy and functional condition of atrioventricular valves on to choice of tactics and volume of surgical treatment of partial AVC were proved; indications and contraindications for valve plasty and valve replacement in partial AVC were concretized; factors influencing early and late results of surgical treatment of partial AVC were revealed. Practical values: recommended rational program of examination with echocardiographical determination of anatomy and functional peculiarities of atrioventricular valves, and thus specify tactics and technical peculiarities of surgical correction, allows improve the results of surgical treatment о partial atrioventricular canal, also determine factors worsen their.
