Subjects of the inquiry: Results of the surgical treatments of 116 patients with a neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve. Aim of the inquiry: To improve results of treatment of patients with a neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve due to use of the optimum and adequate method of the surgical treatment in view of accompanying somatic diseases. Method of inquiry: The Computer tomography, MRT tomography, the visual - analog scale, McGill Pain Questionnaire-MPQ. The results achieved and their novelty: On the basis of the lead analysis of the given treated patients (age, man's a female, duration of illness, the anamnestic data about the earlier carried out methods of treatment, results of the surgical treatment: duration of the anrecurrent period; estimations of pains before and after the surgical methods of treatment and the katanamnesis data using a scale VAS, and McGill Pain Questionnaire-MPQ) the differentiated tactics of approach to a choice of the surgical method of treatment of a neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve is produced. The algorithm of a choice of method of treatment is developed. Practical value: For an estimation of the painful syndrome, objectivisation of the results of treatment scales VAS and the brief McGill Pain Questionnaire-MPQ are applied. By the patient with the diagnosis a neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve the principle of " the increasing radicalism » in a choice of method of the surgical treatment should be applied. At presence of indications, equipment of clinic and qualification of neurosurgeons, MVD of root of the trigeminal nerve is a method of a choice of the surgical treatment. Degree of embed and economic effectivity: the offered algorithm of a choice of method of the surgical treatment and principles of the surgical tactics are introduced in clinic of the Republican Scientific Centre of Neurosurgery of Ministry of Public health services of Republic Uzbekistan.
