This article examines in detail the importance of using innovative and pedagogical technologies in teaching the subject «Algorithmic Languages and Programming»in higher education institutions, the role of smart technologies, the necessity of enhancing practical classes, and the benefits of studying advanced foreign experiences. Innovative technologies help make the educational process interesting and interactive, developing students’ skills in independent thinking and problem-solving. Smart technologies, particularly online courses and virtual laboratories, can improve the quality of education. Practical classes develop students’ skills in applying theoretical knowledge in practice. Studying and adapting foreign experiences to national conditions allows for the improvement of the educational process. The article analyzes the significance of these approaches in increasing the effectiveness of the educational process
